The PS 276 election station is also the spot today for some post-Sandy bake sales to raise money. Manhattan Youth is making a presence.
The table, managed by Broadsheet reporter Matt Fenton, is more of a symbolic awareness raising than fund raising. Manhattan Youth should be able to receive FEMA and insurance proceeds to repair the flood damage.
