Yesterday, a major milestone in the post-Sandy recovery was met when the South Street Seaport had the ConEd power restored. Already, signs of life are seen in the deserted shops at ground level on Fulton Street.
Meanwhile, the South Street Seaport Museum, which was the only business open on Fulton, now has full power. On the third floor is the Folk Art exhibit. The fifth floor exhibit has been consolidated with the fourth floor.
The museum is located at 12 Fulton Street, (212) 748-8731
