Bob Townley’s Manhattan Youth center has been incessantly bombarding residents with email solicitations to raise money for his center, claiming that the Hurricane Sandy damage was not covered under insurance. He hosted a fundraiser on February 28th, with invitations droppings names such as Robert De Niro and Harvey Keitel.
The local papers (that also receive funding from Manhattan Youth) reported the event as a big success, raising $75,000. However,
