January 21, 2014- For the second time this month, under the new mayor, a major snow accumulation as been met with no snow plows to the streets of Battery Park City. This is due to Mayor de Blasio’s promise to treat the other boroughs more fairly.
While it might seem noble to treat the other boroughs more generously, who is paying for the services? BPC residents pay far more on taxes than any other neighborhood of the city, yet the funds are siphoned off for “low income housing” etc.
