Gun violence on the rise during the economic depression

August 2, 2012- Gun violence and mass murder from lone shooters have skyrocketed since the 2007 recession, then depression, began. It seems that the high unemployment and stress brought on by that is triggering the mentally ill to go over the edge. Ed Rendell explains.

A recent WSJ article mapped the rise in gun shootings by precinct in New York.
