July 21, 2015- A New Jersey blog reports, “Polanco was discovered at 10:45 p.m. on July 12, facedown and unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of 20 West St., a residential building in Lower Manhattan, police said Monday. He was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Polanco had “numerous abrasions” to his legs, arms and back, police said, and likely was the victim of a hit and run. The department’s collision investigation squad is reviewing the case, police said. So far, there have been no arrests.”
