I shot three new species today. I thought this was a juvenile Blue Heron, but it is a Tricolored Heron that just showed up to Greer Lake. It seems to be the same bird as the Snowy Egret, only with different plumage. Also new today was a small flock of Spotted Sandpipers.

I then drove a few miles west into land under development and saw these Wood Storks. On my way out, the nearby lake and wild land is where the Great Egret hangs out. This cow was part of a herd. It seems that the farmer thinks they can live off of the grass alone. It is starving.
