We received eight inches of snow in Lower Manhattan. This was a respectable storm with a lot of blowing snow, but it is nothing record breaking. It is certainly not a blizzard, since the winds are light, at 14-MPH, and blizzard is defined as 35-MPH winds for at least three hours.
