13-years ago, I predicted everything that Elon Musk is doing now

Last night, Tesla held a product update event that was meant to be seen on large-screen TVs via the new X.com TV app. The stars of the show were the Optimus humanoid robots. Elon said that they will be the biggest product of any kind ever sold by any company.

I agree. I predicted this 13-years ago in an essay about Steve Jobs in which I looked forward at what Jobs could have done if he had not died in 2011. Well, instead of an imaginary man, Elon Musk came along and achieved much of what I predicted.

I predicted Apple would be worth trillions in market cap. Apple reached $3 Trillion in 2002. Elon’s Tesla $800 Billion and growing. For a company to be worth over $2 Trillion was crazy talk in 2011.

I predicted that Jobs (now Elon) would strangely purchase medical device maker Medtronic, confusing Wall Street, then show the world why, years later, by selling humanoid robot assistants called iRobot, based on the movie. That is a reality now under Tesla. Elon is using the term WeRobot, based on the movie. His robots are called Optimus.

I predicted that Jobs would create a brain interface with computers. Elon did this with Neuralink (which is a medical device that could have been made by Medtronic in my essay’s scenario). There was no hint of this back in 2011 when I wrote the essay.

I predicted Jobs would be chased out of the country as he became too much of a threat to the government. That is happening to Elon now.

My last prediction for Jobs was that he would invent ways to travel long distances in space and leave Earth. Elon is doing that with SpaceX.

Remember, this essay was written in 2011 before SpaceX was launching rockets, or before Elon Musk was even well known. I met Elon in Battery Park in 2014 and got him an interview with my Fox Business show friends. He was a cash-poor and relatively unheard of man then. That is why my essay focused on Steve Jobs and if he had lived. I had no idea that Elon was poised to do it all.

While I did not predict that Elon would do these things, I did see them happening in remarkable detail. Nobody sees the future better than I do. Greer knows.
