They Say I Have Big Balls

I found the comments interesting to this viral video of mine speaking to City Council. There are 1,600 comments so far. Normally, there are about 20 or so on any given Instagram post, if one is lucky. It is hard to illicit comments.

In my mind, I was being very low-key and not raising my voice. I had the power of a federal lawsuit, so I did not need to bluster or try to garner public favor.

However, numerous people tweeted the same thing, which is that I had “big balls”. Another theme is that I was “the boss” taking control of the room.

This guy states it well. I think most people thought that I was a lawyer from New York coming into take care of business. I get that a lot. When I was in Los Angeles this year, my Uber driver thought that I was some powerful lawyer. I’m not a lawyer, but I play one on TV.

I swear, I thought I was just being humble. I guess there’s a certain quality to body language that is louder than words. In my mind, I knew that I had a bunch of helpless schmucks in front of me and I suppose that I was indeed taking control of them.

There is a big disconnect between what goes on in my mind and what I outwardly portray. I have been told this many years ago by friends in Wall Street. I can’t help it. It is like “resting bitch face” except it is “accidental boss vibes” with me.

Oh well.
