I emailed earlier today a leading HIV researcher, Monica Gandhi MD, MPH from UCSF, the news that 100 or more HIV researchers were on board MH17 and killed.
She replied, “Thank you, Steve. This news far outstrips any other news in our community this week. What a terrible tragedy and thank you so much for paying homage, Monica”.
Dr. Gandhi will be our guest next week. Coincidentally, we had her lined up before this tragedy. Also joining us will be Rajesh Gandhi, M.D. from Harvard.
