BatteryPark.TV was the first to point out that “Hurricane” Sandy was not a typical hurricane when it hit New York City. We have lived through many Category 3, 4, and 5 hurricanes in Miami. Our video footage clearly showed nonexistent winds and light sprinkles. This fact is not becoming practically useful.
Apparently, many insurance companies are claiming that policyholders are not covered because their insurance did not cover hurricanes. The storm called Sandy, when it hits NYC was a “Post tropical storm”.
