I captured the first four bird gifts of the song within minutes. I have every bird you can imagine in my yard. Later in the day, two Egyptian Geese showed up that I could have used for the song.
Here are the 12 gifts from the classic Christmas carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas” (in the traditional and most common version):
- A partridge in a pear tree
- Two turtle doves
- Three French hens
- Four calling birds
- Five golden rings
- Six geese a-laying
- Seven swans a-swimming
- Eight maids a-milking
- Nine ladies dancing
- Ten lords a-leaping
- Eleven pipers piping
- Twelve drummers drumming
