More thoughts on AI

I am using AI this week on a large legal brief with hundreds of exhibits. Ironically, I am working harder than I ever have before in my life and AI is supposed to make life easier.

There are a couple of reasons for this. First, I am taking on a much more ambitious tasks. Secondly, AI is frustrating. After a few hours, it slows down and created nonsense. I needs constant babysitting.

This relates to the Goldman Sachs report that said all investment in AI last year did nothing to improve productivity.

I just had a big thought: Everyone talks about AI replacing humans, but AI is not ready to do that, and might never be able to do that. The large language code is fatally flawed. I think AI can make an individual more productive, but it cannot work without a human monitoring it. So, perhaps AI will not reduce humans in the workplace. Maybe it will make each worker more powerful.
