BatteryPark.TV has previously reported on the detailed payments from the BPCA to the Broadsheet and the subsequent favorable biased “reporting” by the Broadsheet about BPCA scandals. In the January 11th eBroadsheet, Matthew Fenton has an article about the Asphalt Green repairs. Directly next to the article is a paid advertisement from the BPCA’s parks conservancy.
In the article, Mr. Fenton references the long campaign of misinformation by former CEO Gayle Horwitz, and existing staff members Matthew Monahan and Anne Fenton, as a legitimate “year-long process of obtaining safety inspections and permits was successfully concluded, and a long-running contract dispute between the BPCA and Asphalt Green was amicably resolved“. In fact, the city permit delays were all an elaborate ruse exclusively exposed as such by BP.TV. The Broadsheet, throughout the entire 2011 and 2012 years, never once reported that CEO Horwitz and her team were misleading the community.
Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom.
