I have previously interviewed the co-owners of Mighty Quinn’s, Hugh Mangum and Micha Magid, up at their original restaurant on Second Avenue and Sixth Street, in anticipation of them opening in Battery Park City. Well, the day has arrived.
I had not tried the chicken yet, so I chose that as my first dining experience of Hudson Eats. It is just as moist and smokey as I had been told.
At $9 for half a chicken, it is a nice meal for the family, or the executive on a cross-training physical fitness schedule. No other restaurant in BPC offers such a combination of high quality and good price.
