Tip of the Week: Fill in the ridges in your teeth caused by brushing

Teeth 8-21-2014Update February 12, 2015- I had Dr. Brecht do an unusual procedure on my upper canines today. They had slight ridges caused by brushing that most people have. To prevent them from getting worse, he used his prosthodontic artist skills to fill in the ridges with white bonding material.

I recommend that you all get this done to add years to the lives of your teeth.

Dr. Brecht is the Harvard-trained doctor who spends most of his time working on complex craniofacial cases with the NYU plastic surgeons. His private office also does this more mundane type of work.

August 21, 2014- By Steven E. Greer, MD

I have relied on my dentist sister-in-law for my dental care for a long time, but have been unable to visit her for a while. Then, I thought I had a problem, and reached out to Lawrence Brecht at NYU (He and I know each other from my days in surgery when he was in the reconstructive surgery department).

Dr. Brecht saw me right away, and my teeth are fine. I was just a hypochondriac. But I did get a great cleaning. My teeth are smooth and shiny.

So, even if you think your teeth are clean, it won’t hurt to get a cleaning.

Dr. Brecht is not accepting new patients, but if you say you heard about him from BatteryPark.TV, he will probably see you. (Yes. I took a selfie in the dentist chair)
