Tip of the Week: Get your adult vaccinations at Rite Aid

Most adults are not fully vaccinated against preventable diseases because American Medicine has a screwed up system that discourages most doctors from offering vaccines in their office. As a result, local pharmacies have become the location of choice for vaccinations.

Did you know that you can get more than just the flu shot at a pharmacy? At the local Rite Aid in Brookfield Place, you can get also vaccines against pneumococcal pneumonia, shingles or chicken pox, and whooping cough (pertussis). It is a quick process too, taking just a few minutes.
