Call Me By Your Name was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Picture and Best Actor categories. Sometimes these artsy films are surprisingly good, but not this time.

Armie Hammer played an adult graduate student living over the summer in Italy helping a literature professor. He sparks up a love affair with the 17-year old son, played by Timothée Chalamet. But that is not the creepy part.

This film is gross to watch because the actors have such bad physiques. Chalamet looks like a walking ribcage. Hammer has pasty white skinny legs. The various women in the film were not eye candy either.

Then, the film plays into the usual “How to get an Oscar” formula, by portraying gay love affairs in gratuitous fashion. This was really just a lame porn film. Armie Hammer, having caused two big-budget flops (The Lone Ranger and The Man from Uncle) is trying to save his career by accepting gay porn roles.

Move on. There is nothing to see here.
