We tried the Uber car service and highly recommend it. Anyone with a smart phone can click a button and the nearest town car, Mercedes, or SUV arrives. The drivers are tracked with customer ratings so there is accountability, unlike cash town cars or yellow taxies. The transaction is cashless and avoids the cumbersome credit card swiping. Users can even call the driver en route to inquire on the status.
