Another big news agency moves Downtown

225 Liberty drive looking southDecember 22, 2015- The Associated Press is leaving Midtown to move into 200 Liberty Street in Brookfield Place. They will occupy an entire floor, or 170,000 square feet, according to Observer, and make the move in 2017.

Downtown has become the new hub of media for New York. Time Inc. recently moved into 225 Liberty. Across the street, News Corp and 21st Century Fox will be moving into a new WTC Tower 2 by the year 2020, and Condé Nast already resides within One World Trade Center. Of course, the most influential of them all, BatteryPark.TV, is located in BPC too.
