Officer Riddick NYPD awardOctober 30, 2015- by Steven E. Greer

The NYPD convened its monthly community affairs meeting last night. Officer Adam Riddick was awarded the “Officer of the Month” recognition for arresting a man on a crime spree who had recently stolen a car and was heading to Brooklyn with it. Officer Riddick downloaded an app to his iPhone, tracked the car using its GPS, and arrested the perp near the Brooklyn bridge.

It was later learned that the man arrested was a really bad dude. He was on a crime spree starting in South Carolina, where he raped a 13-year-old girl, and also, “Over a two-day period, committed murder, rape, robbery, assault, burglary and (car theft).”.

How did Officer Riddick know how to track a car on his phone? He used to be an Apple Store employee.

Aside, the First Precinct meeting room is much cleaner and better organized now under the new CO Captain Mark Iocco.
