BatteryPark.TV previously reported in an exclusive that Mayor de Blasio is considering exercising the option of assimilating the authority into the city. We also reported that the BPCA was in chaos, with numerous high-level executives having abruptly left.
Today, it was learned that the December 3rd BPC CB1 meeting will discuss as a topic, “Mission of Battery Park City Authority – Discussion”. This seems to indicate that the CB1 and other local officials are spotting an opportunity as the BPCA leadership fumbles and crumbles.
