January 7, 2014- The BPC subcommittee of CB1 met tonight. Representatives from Brookfield gave an update on the construction for the new Brookfield Place.
The dining court will be opened this spring. The retail clothing shops will not open until 2015.
However, the most disappointing news was to learn that the bike path will remain closed throughout 2014. The path between the West Side High and WFC buildings will not be opened, forcing all delivery bicycles, joggers, Citi Bikers, etc, to continue to use the esplanade by the marina.
