January 25, 2016- In the news is a story about a radical professor at the University of Missouri who was caught on camera violating the First Amendment rights of a journalist filming a Black Lives Matter protest. She wanted thugs to beat up the reporter. She has now been charged with misdemeanor assault.
Locally, your own BPCA staff have been engaging in the same behavior. They have successfully suckered third-party security guards to physically ban BatteryPark.TV from public Town Hall and board meetings.
How is that not assault? In the Missouri case, the zealot woman simply uttered words. No security guards followed her orders. However, in the BPCA case, real security forces forcefully blocked us from entering.
