August 24, 2015- There have been many complaints over the last year about poorly thought out TV and film shoots that close off Downtown streets. Well, the idiot in charge has been fired.

The Post reports, “Cynthia López, commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, announced her resignation Friday after just 16 months in the high-profile job, a departure several industry sources attributed to poor performance.

“She was unable to form any alliances with the communities and she was also unable to establish relationships with the film industry,” said one industry insider.”
