February 11, 2015- A little more than two years ago, Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality decided to get into the premium juice business and started selling bottled vegetable juices at Equinox gyms under the brand of Creative Juices. In 2013, when the Brookfield Place Equinox began to take form, BatteryPark.TV learned that this location might not be working with Mr. Meyer. We have now confirmed that the new Equinox will not be using Danny Meyer’s juices.
Meanwhile, Mr. Meyer is trying to scale up his Blue Smoke food to serve on Delta Airlines flights. It is unknown how well that is working, but his land-based restaurants are not getting good reviews.
