The Silverstein real estate team allowed us to have a look at the top of the Four Seasons being constructed at Church Street and Park Place. It is just a block north of the World Trade Center towers underway which are also Silverstein projects.
This Four Seasons will be the only large luxury hotel Downtown when it opens in 2016 (The Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park is now struggling since Goldman Sachs stopped using it in favor of their own Conrad Hotel). Along with the shops opening underneath the World Trade Center towers, the Four Seasons will be crucial to the final transformation of Downtown in the “New Midtown”.
