December 30, 2013- With the news about the Fed’s NSA spying on your cell phones, then Google’s ability to literally track your movements through GPS, the old fashioned flip phone is coming back in style. People in the know, such as CEO’s of banks and financial gurus, have flip phones now.
More importantly, iPhones are such a liquid asset in the black market that they are getting the owners of those phones violently mugged. The old flip phone is your best defense against felonious assault.
The Post reports today, “A gun-toting mugger in Central Park was so disappointed by his victim’s cheap flip phone that he handed it back. “Once he saw my phone, he looked at it like, ‘What the f–k is this?’ and gave it back to me,” recalled Kevin Cook, 25, of Brooklyn.”
