Raccoons are wickedly smart. They are related to canines, but smarter with hands.
I set a clever trap for them, as you see in the video. Well, it escaped the first trap by being smart, remembering the exit pathway, and having no hesitation knowing that danger was upon it.
I set the trap again, thinking the gang of three males would fall into it. But the same female came back. That is bold.
The second time, I did manage to trap it. But it figured out how to use the door handle on the screen door and escaped. Whoa!
