This cardio boxing class at the Stuyvesant Community center is more of a genuine boxing class than I expected. It teaches real technique.
The motions required in boxing are also excellent for a High Intensity Interval Training. Simply punching into the air or shuffling your feet is exhausting after less than a minute.
I made up a new term. I told the instructor that I would lose a boxing match by Knockout by Exhaustion, or K.O.E. I wouldn’t last 60-seconds in a sparring match. No one would have to punch me. I’d just pass out.
