October 10, 2013- DNAinfo is reporting that a livery cab driver stole $1,000 from a passenger he was driving to the Downtown Ritz-Carlton. BatteryPark.TV has previously reported on the problem of livery cabs loitering on residential streets waiting for corporate dispatchers. Many of the livery drivers have extensive arrest records making it impossible for them to drive a yellow cab.
