Excitement is in the air at Dennis Conner’s North Cove.  In addition to the normal hails of starboard and port, new hails of “Lights, camera, action!” were heard on the waterfront this morning.

The 147 foot mega yacht “Lady M” is docked in slip S1.  She arrived on Friday and the crew spent the weekend getting her polished and shining.

Then the camera crews began arriving early this morning.  By 10 a.m., a large crowd had gathered around the marina.  Soon, onlookers were buzzing as Leonardo DiCaprio strolled down the quay and hopped aboard Lady M.

All this activity is for Martin Scorcese’s new film called “Wolf of Wall Street.”  Filming may continue tomorrow.

Two years ago, North Cove was featured in the film “Friends With Benefits” with Justin Timberlake and Woody Harrelson.  Before that, the marina was featured in “Hitch” with Will Smith.

Seems like something interesting and exciting is frequently happening at Dennis Conner’s North Cove.

We hope you’ll come visit us as well.  We’re standing by ready to catch your lines.
