The New York Post published today, “A transgender psychologist who has helped hundreds of teens transition has warned that it has “gone too far” — and fears many are making life-changing decisions because it’s “trendy” and pushed on social media.” This communist agenda to promote transgender hormone blocking in children really is as bad as I have been hearing about.
Recently, I saw two examples of it in rural Ohio. A young person of high school age, working at an AT&T store, was short in stature likely as the result of hormone blocking drugs. He was still identifying as a female but it was awkward to watch. I then went to Trader Joe’s later in the day and saw several of their employees dressing as transgender.
Mind you that I am in central Ohio, which is quite conservative. I hate to see what is going on in other parts of the country.
There seems to be tremendous short-term motivation for vulnerable children to becoming transgender. Children who feel disaffected or powerless suddenly become part of a powerful protected class. It is alluring to them. It draws a lot of attention. They feel special, but they lack the mental skills to understand the long-term implications and spot that they are being manipulated. Then, surgeons and shrinks are reimbursed by the government to do the transition procedures, which is another driving force.
All of this is barbaric mutilation of young people. Ample evidence is building that people who are brainwashed into transitioning go on to become suicidal.
This hits home for me. Yet again, it is the medical community doing something unthinkable.
In an essay last year, I wrote, “The medical principle of nonmaleficence holds that there is an obligation by doctors to not inflict harm on others. It is closely associated with the maxim primum non nocere (first do no harm).” (Tucker Carlson used this recently too. Hmm.). The crimes against humanity committed during the lockdowns destroyed the goodwill created over hundreds of years by my medical profession. Now, this transgender barbarism is another crime that people in white coats are committing.
In the bigger picture, there are a few reasons that doctors have flipped from being independent businessman with noble goals in life to becoming woke political hacks harming patients. It started when large hospital conglomerates were created. Those made doctors employees of Democrat-run government organizations (hospitals are not officially government organizations, but behave the same because their money stems from the government). The lesser-known reason is that the standards for being admitted into med school started to drop decades ago (I have been appalled recently by the quality of primary care delivered to my parents.).
I wrote the book The Medical Advocate in 2019 before the aforementioned crimes against humanity were committed. All of what I explained in the book is child’s play now compared to the events since 2020.
