Our Federal Tumor

This debt limit issue that is consuming Washington exposes how bureaucracies are just like biological cancers. They grow uncontrollably, and the fuel is money instead of blood and oxygen. If someone threatens to even keep a budget at the same level, much less reduce it, the cancer cells (i.e., lobbyists and their politician puppets) fight back.

The huge budget in question is based on the incomprehensibly-large increases in spending that occurred during the pandemic. All of those trillions in stimulus bills and PPP loans are now perpetually factored into the budget as if we are going to constantly have a crisis. The same thing happened after 2008. When Obama passed stimulus bills, those became permanent parts of the budget.

Once a cancer tumor grows, it cannot revert to the former size. It only gets bigger until the host is killed.

Communism is also a cancer that kills its host. Inflation and uncontrolled spending are tools used by the communist tumor to invade and destroy the host.

Lenin explained why inflation is a tool of communism. It destabilizes the foreign nation being attacked and creates a crisis that allows communism to spread in the anarchy.

When academic economists, like Paul Krugman, support government spending and pretend that it does not create inflation, they are acting as soldiers of communism. Democrats are the party of communism. Universities are the breeding ground for communist strategies.

By their very nature, large bureaucracies that grow like cancer tumors have synergies with communism. Both thrive under inflation, to a point. But like all tumors, when the host is killed, the tumor dies as well.
