My long-lost friends from the PGA Village up the road, last seen in July of 2021, found me in my new lakefront house. My bird feeder on the shepherd hoke pole is what made them stop by. When I waked out, they seemed calm and knew how to eat shelled peanuts. I suspected they were the same pair. Then, the male jumped with joy when he recognized me.

Because they are scarlet and gray, I named the male Brutus for Brutus the Buckeye. I named the female Harriet for famous Ohioan Harriet Beecher Stowe.
