December 21, 2023- Finally figured out what was wrong with my Sony 600-mm lens. A protective glass filter was causing it to not make crisp focus.
Above, that White Egret is 230-yards away, taken with full 600-mm zoom. I then cropped it in Photoshop.
Below, that Glossy Ibis is about 150-yards away.
This buzzard was about 500-yards away. I used rapid frame capture and auto-focus.
A year ago, I could not take clear photos of Bald Eagles in Ohio. I was so frustrated.
