I have seen the Wood Storks overhead and on land nearby, but never on Lake Greer. Well, the secret is out. I was invaded today.
Also unusual is that the rare Great Egret, usually a lone bird, is now appearing. Today, There were at least three of them.

July 3, 2024- It has been four months since I have seen these Wood Storks. The rains after the drought are bringing all of the birds back.
