It is getting very hot and we are still in a severe drought. All forms of life have left Lake Greer, with a few exceptions.
I spotted a strange looking birds. They are Green Heron. The Cornell bird app says that they are rare.
The sound it makes is odd. It grunts like an alligator.
I was filming it when I saw it reach the the dirt and start to eat small fish it has previously caught and stored. The photos with the fish are a little blurry.
