At the CB1 meeting on September 24th, Rep. Jerrold Nadler was present. After his presentation, we asked him about the federal Coast Guard laws mandating the horn sounding of the ferry boats, creating a public menace.

A staffer accompanying him, Celine Mizrahi, explained, “We looked into this. The laws are very specific. We tried.”

Mr. Nadler then asked, “What is this about?”, and we explained the situation, that it was federal law, etc. To which, Mr. Nadler replied, “Well maybe we change the law.”
