BatteryPark.TV has been reporting throughout Hurricane Sandy that much of the destruction and hassles in the aftermath of the storm have been due to human incompetence. We cited the dangling crane on 57th Street as a prime example.
CBS News reported this morning that Lend Lease, the same company responsible for killing two firefighters at the old Deutsche Bank building in Ground Zero and also overbilling clients, operated the construction project on 57th Street.
