Earlier this year, my apartment building was having a critical problem with very delayed deliver of the U.S. mail. Our regular delivery lady retired and we never got a replacement. I asked Senator Schumer’s office for help. They contacted the post office and we got a new dedicated mailman.
Recently, we had another problem with a rogue postal service employee filling in for someone who refused to pick up packages saying, “I don’t have to do that.”. My doorman told me the story, and I sent an email to Senator Schumer.
