I was noticing the strong presence of electric vehicles at this year’s car show on the esplanade. Not only did Tesla show up, but BMW sent their M8 electric car. In addition, Formula 1 now has an all-electric racing series.
With electric cars being faster, safer, and soon cheaper to drive than gasoline engines, and with a smart company like Tesla leading the way, the demise of the gasoline engine could come sooner than the mainstream media is reporting.
