- When Trump signs these executive orders, he has some lawyer I’ve never seen before explaining them to him. Trump mentioned how he was top of his class at Harvard. In stark contrast to the orders he signed in 2017 with Steve Bannon, which were sloppy and quickly shut down by courts, these seem to be well drafted. They have a strategy to them. The reason Elon Musk, who’s not even a government employee, can go into USAID and shut it down, is because Trump made an executive order to end all funding of NGO’s.
