May 5, 2015- As BP.TV has reported previously, DNAinfo now confirms that the old Liberty View Chinese joint (now closed down), and the Benvenuti Italian place, both on South End Avenue, are the sources for those speeding electric bikes on the sidewalks that terrorize pedestrians. The city has been cracking down and issuing tickets, which DNAinfo displays as a map.
If you see one of these bikes on the sidewalk, you should yell at them to get off the sidewalk. You can also report them to your building and get them banned. There is no need for them to use the sidewalks.
