August 9, 2013- Chef Thomas Keller, the chef and restaurateur behind two of the ten three-star Michelin restaurants in the country (The French Laundry and Per Se), visited Chef Floyd Cardoz at his North End Grill this week. He sat in the bar area at a low table (AKA Greer’s table), and was unannounced. When Chef Floyd learned of Keller’s presence, he was quite surprised, we were told.
Every year, Keller shuts down his restaurants for renovation. He was likely in town for Per Se work.
