For unkown reasons the internet is down even though it survived the flooding last night and all is dry now. Please email us at info@batterypark.tv to give us updates.
To reply to questions, all is dry and fine in BPC. However, the phone and internet is down for Verizon. Power is on and never went out.
The city is crippled thanks to human mistakes and the MTA shutting down the subways and pols shutting down bridges.
Along with the crane on 57 dangling and the NYU hospital evacuation, most of the problems related to Sandy were due to incompetence and not high winds or heavy rain. The surrounding regions are different, but Manhattan was spared for be most part except for two hours of storm surge flooding. BPC was spared even more compared to the great flooding on he lower east side.
