Will there be a German beer festival next to the Jewish Holocaust Museum?

With the real possibility that the SLA will allow the Poulakakos team to have the rights to serve beer on the large 5,000 square-foot, BPCA-funded, plaza, under construction now, what will this mean to the community? The team addressed this during the June 3rd SLA meeting, and explained that the “beer garden” (a term they now use in their own descriptions on the BPCA website), is a “Tribute to German immigrants”.

That poses the obvious question: With the Jewish Holocaust Museum 150 feet away from this beer garden, won’t that be a bit insensitive?
