BPC PEP found in The BatteryJune 21, 2016- DNAinfo reports, “A woman standing on a subway platform last week was knocked unconscious by a stranger, police said.

The 26-year-old victim, standing inside the Bowling Green station, was approached by a man at about 5:50 p.m. on June 14 who told her he was going to slap her. He then proceeded to punch her, knocking her unconscious, police said.”

This is the same region where violent criminals above ground have been robbing and harassing tourists. Since the police cracked down on illegal ferry boat ticket sales, the thugs have relocated to the Subway stations farther East.
