As Amazon.com continues to transform retail and put traditional stores out of business, the load of packages that your doormen will have to handle is now untenable for just one person. In my building, the one man received 500 boxes all at once. The night shift doorman was still processing them at 1:00 AM.
Tell your building managers that they need to assign an extra staffer to help the doorman from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
